Coronavirus complicates return to in-person learning

The start of the school year has been disrupted by the Delta variant of the coronavirus, which has caused many students to quarantine and some classes and campuses to be closed because of outbreaks. In Mississippi, for example, more than 20,000 students quarantined after the first week of the school year.
